Questions for affiliates from the Clinical section of Clinical Health Psychology (you will be given questions from Health Psychology separately).
1. Critically evaluate the evidence that biological factors cause
schizophrenia.
2. What is post-traumatic stress disorder and how does it develop?
3. Through what mechanisms might stressful life events impact on
psychological disorders?
You can choose one of these questions to be the topic of your essay (submitted at the end of the term) if you choose clinical psychology topic. Questions from health psychology will be given at a later date.
