Essay submission for Fall-term students

Below are some information for Fall-term students.

Just to remind you again that all Fall-term students who are taking a psychology course have to submit two essays with 2000-words MAXIMUM length for each course.

All essays need to be handed in at the General Office, Bedford Way level 3 on
*14th December 2007 at 5 p.m. *
You need to submit one hard copy of each essay with a signed seminar essay declaration form. You'll find the form in page 8 of the 'seminar hand-out for students' which is sent through email and can be found on the intranet of psychology website http://www.psychol.ucl.ac.uk/intranet/staff.htm

Remember to put the course name and code and the name of the course convenor on the declaration form - not Brad's, Irma's, Matthias' name, or the name of the person who gave the lecture that the essay is on.

The essay needs to roughly conform with APA guidelines and you'll find all the information in the document attached. You'll also need to email the electronic version of the essays to i.kurniawan@ucl.ac.uk with your surname, course code, and 'essay1' or 'essay 2' as the email subject. Please do this by 15th December 2007 at 1 p.m. (e.g., kurniawan, 2207,essay1).
I will send out a reminder closer to the date.

Irma

Orienting questions for PSY2007 (perception, ATTENTION, and action)

For those who are taking PSY2007 "Perception, Attention, and Action", you may have realised that we've only put up essay questions themed in Perception and Action only. Pete Howell, the lecturer for 'Attention' in this course had provided a CD with power point slides at the beginning of the lecture course for each of you with the first slide including "orienting questions". These questions would be useful for the students to think about while they go through the lectures and students can use the orientation questions (or a question from last year's exam paper) for their essays.

Please contact me should you have any questions.
