Fall term 9001 and 9002 submission

This message is for all fall term affiliate students who are enrolled in PSYC9001A or/ and PSYC9002A.
The reports for PSYC9001A and PSYC9002A are due on Thursday Dec, 16th 2010 at 3pm (the same deadline as the second essays).

The submission procedure is basically the same as for your essays. So it will be submitted via the Psychology Online System:

After clicking ‘workspace’, you will find a relevant 'course code' on the left side (9001A or 9002A).

For sorting purposes, you need to save your reports file with a specific format:
Coursecode (4 digits), underscore, UCL username (zcj...)
For example: with the file name 9001_zcjtfa76 (without i or ii).
Below is information regarding research report and literature review submissions (PSYC 9001 and PSYC 9002)

PSYC 9001:
The word limit is between 2500 - 3500 words excluding references.
The general guidelines for writing are the same as any APA formatted research report, with tables and figures included within the text (not at the end of the text).
This should include title, abstract, introduction, method, results, discussion, acknowledgement, and references sections.

PSYC 9002:
The word limit is 5000 words excluding references.
Citations and references should comply with APA style.


Important notes:

It is assumed that essays submitted through POS are genuine work of the authors and that material drawn from other sources has been appropriately acknowledged. Any case of plagiarism will be treated seriously.

Essays should follow general APA citation and references guidelines. Only include your candidate number AND UCL username (zcj...) as a header or footer within the document, not your real name. For ease of marking, include essay questions in the beginning of essay.

Penalties for late submission:
The full allocated mark should be reduced by 5 percentage points for the first working day after the deadline for the submission of the coursework. The mark will be reduced by a further 10 percentage points if the coursework is submitted during the following six days.
For example, an essay with a mark of 68% with one day penalty will receive 63% as the final mark.
